Вот уже более 16 лет ярославская группа HALTER продолжает гнуть свою линию: играть Death/Doom старой школы, окрашенный заметными штрихами дружественных жанров - Sludge, Stoner и Gothic Metal. За эти годы было выпущено 3 полноформатных альбома, сыграны десятки концертов и принято участие в нескольких тематических сборниках. Развитие группы неоднократно затормаживалось потерей ключевых музыкантов, но около восьми лет стабильности позволило сыгранной и дружной команде опытных музыкантов создать, пожалуй, свой лучший альбом...
For over 16 years, the Yaroslavl band HALTER has continued to pursue its own path: playing old-school Death/Doom, tinged with noticeable touches of related genres – Sludge, Stoner, and Gothic Metal. Over these years, they have released three full-length albums, played dozens of concerts, and participated in several thematic compilations. The band's development was repeatedly slowed by the loss of key musicians, but about eight years of stability allowed the well-coordinated and close-knit team of experienced musicians to create, arguably, their best album...

Путь к "Another Strong Hand for a Damned Land" был долгим и трудным, ведь его сочинение и запись пришлись на, возможно, самые сложные для новейшей истории страны времена: двадцатые годы с их эпидемией ковида, а затем и кровопролитной бойней. Это не могло не отразиться на музыкальной и лирической составляющих альбома: песни получились очень разными, но цельно-соединёнными в рамках стиля; звук - крепко собранным, отлично сбалансированным, что не удивительно - ведь за сведение отвечал мастер своего дела - Аркадий Навахо. Лирически, посредством глубокого символизма, песни наполнены переживаниями последних лет, миролюбивым посылом и стремлением к свободе. The road to "Another Strong Hand for a Damned Land" was long and difficult, as its writing and recording took place during arguably the most difficult times in the country's recent history: the 2020s with their COVID epidemic, strengthening of the regime, and then the war. This could not but affect in the musical and lyrical components of the album: the songs are very different, yet cohesive within a solid style; the sound is massive, heavy, yet perfectly balanced, which is not surprising, if we know that the mixing was done by a master of his craft, Arkady Navakho. Lyrically, through profound symbolism, the songs are filled with the experiences of recent years, an anti-war message, a desire for freedom, and bitterness over the fate of people in the region.
