Grimorium Verum были сформированы в конце 1996 года. С самого начала группа заняла особое место на сцене Сыктывкара. Использование драм-машины, гитары и гроулинга отличало звучание группы от других. С 1997 по 1999 год группа имела успешную концертную деятельность. В начале нового века GRIMORIUM VERUM выпустили концертный EP «In concert 1999», который был успешно распродан. Год спустя группа записала сингл «Dancer», самую неоднозначную композицию коллектива в тот момент. Но время неумолимо, в 2001 году «GRIMORIUM VERUM» прекратила свою деятельность из-за личных и творческих проблем. В 2005 году вокалист группы Roma Diamond выпустил свой сольный альбом, в который вошли композиции «GRIMORIUM VERUM». Это сотрудничество Diamond и Andy дало толчок к возрождению группы. В 2006 году ребята возобновили концертную деятельность, не забывая о создании новых песен. Звук группы стал ещё более мощным и агрессивным, а использование сэмплов добавило к их музыке более отчётливый оттенок мистики. В 2008 году Diamond и Andy выпустили первый полноценный альбом «Retaliation». В 2011 группа выпустила второй альбом «Reborn», в котором был сформирован окончательный стиль музыки. В то же время к группе присоединился клавишник. В настоящее время группа продолжает свою успешную деятельность, принимая участие в различных концертах и фестивалях. В 2015 году банда выпустила альбом «Relict». Это был шаг к новому звучанию группы.
Grimorium Verum was formed in the end of 1996. From the very beginning the band took a special place on Syktyvkar's stage. The use of a drum-machine, a sharp guitar and growl, distinguished the sound of the band from the others. From 1997 to 1999 the band had a successful concert activity. At the beginning of the new century "GRIMORIUM VERUM" had released the concert EP "In concert 1999" which was successfully sold. A year later the band recorded a single "Dancer", the most ambiguous composition of the collective at the time. But time is inexorable, and in 2001 "GRIMORIUM VERUM" stopped their activity due to personal and creative issues. In 2005 the vocalist of the band, Roma Diamond, released his solo album, in which he included the compositions of "GRIMORIUM VERUM". This collaboration of Diamond and Andy gave a push to a revival of the band. In 2006 the guys resumed the concert activity, not forgetting about composing new songs. The sound of the group has become even more powerful and aggressive, and the use age of samples added more distinct flavor of mysticism to their music. In 2008 Diamond and Andy released the first high-grade album "Retaliation". In 2011 the band released the second album "Reborn", in which the final music style was approved. At the same time a keyboard player joined the band. At present time band continues their successful activity taking part in various concerts and festivals. In 2015 the collective released album "Relict". It was step to new sound of band.

Это просто удивительно, что музыканты создают столь потрясающий и добротный материал, но остаются преданными избранному пути вот уже на протяжении более 20 лет. "Revenant" просто сокрушает своей мощью и магией тёмной атмосферы. Можно много говорить о ярости гитарных риффов, которые переплетаются с великолепными оркестровыми и клавишными партиями, а также про безбожный скриминг и гроулинг вкупе с потрясающими бэк-вокалами. "Revenant" это настоящее путешествие по тёмным углам души. С самого начала ощущается невидимая сила, что заставляет слушать от начала и до конца. Тайные сборища и самоистязание одиночки, древние тотемы и кровожадные проповеди. Паломничество к Люциферу в Дантовом Аду и безмолвная заглавная композиция, которая переносит нас в мир тёмных иллюзий подсознания. Окровавленные стены чёрного замка с зеркальным залом, где никто не увидит своего отражения. Загадочный человек, сдирающий свою плоть, выставляя напоказ своё истинное змеиное лицо. А в конце слушатель оказывается закрытым в гроте вместе с "сыном божьим", только что снятым с креста. И всё это в потрясающем музыкальном обрамлении. "Revenant" - лучший альбом коллектива на данный момент. Диск рекомендуется не только всем фанатам Cradle Of Filth, Limbonic Art, Dimmu Borgir и ценителям symphonic black metal сферы, но и всем металхэдам в целом!
After 3 years of waiting, the Russian symphonic black metal band Grimorium Verum presents new album "Revenant". The previous "Relict" left more than positive emotions and hopes for the next work. It's just amazing that the musicians create such a stunning and sound material, but remain committed to the chosen path for over 20 years. "Revenant" simply overwhelms its power and magic of a dark atmosphere. Fury of guitar riffs, which are intertwined with great orchestral and keyboard parts, as well as godless screaming and growling, along with amazing backing vocals. "Revenant" is a true journey through the dark corners of the soul. From the very beginning, there is an invisible force that makes you listen from beginning to end. Secret gatherings and self-torture of loners, ancient totems and bloodthirsty sermons. Pilgrimage to Lucifer in Dante's Hell and a silent title track that takes us to the world of dark illusions of the subconscious. The bloodied walls of a black castle with a mirror hall, where no one will see their reflection. A mysterious man, ripping off his flesh, flaunting his true serpentine face. And in the end, the listener is closed in the grotto, along with the "son of god", just taken off the cross. And all this in a stunning musical frame. "Revenant" is the best album of the band at the moment. CD is recommended not only to all the fans of Cradle Of Filth, Limbonic Art, Dimmu Borgir and connoisseurs of the symphonic black metal sphere, but to all metalheads in general!
