As a super-serious professional blogger for this fine establishment (read: doughy man who is paid to eat peanut butter for lunch), I receive so many promos that sometimes some really good ones slip through the cracks. So for the record, I’m aware that Termestella Cvltvs, the new album by Colombia’s Bestialized, dropped late last month. But hey, better late than never.
Because Termestella Cvltvs isn’t a typical warlike black metal assault (though it definitely has a lot of that). The seasick cosmic doom overtones of opening track “Harvest Throes” sticks around throughout, adorning the band’s furious blasting with a sort bizarre off-kilter quality. This is made only stronger by the album’s production, which forsakes the murk and churn of most war metal for a crisp but layered sound that really emphasizes the steely sound of the guitars, and reminds one of some of the wonkier moments in early Morbid Angel.
All of which is a long-winded way to say, listen to Bestialized’s new album. It’s brutal, it’s interesting, and it has a song called “Cosmic War Maggot” on it. You can’t go wrong.

Bestialized are a band from Columbia that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very fast and aggressive form of black metal with some death metal elements and this is a review of their 2016 album "Termestella Cvltvs" which was released as a joint effort between Satanath and Murdher Records.
Avant garde sounds along with some melodic guitar leads and spoken word samples start off the album along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and after the intro the music goes into a very fast and raw black metal direction t hat also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking, blast beats and high pitched screams.
Death metal growls can also be heard in the music at times while some of the riffs also bring in a decent amount of melody and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and nature sounds along with war samples can also be heard on the recording at times and synths along with ritualistic spoken word parts can also be heard briefly while the heavier sections of the songs also bring in elements of war metal.
Bestialized plays a musical style on this recording that takes the rawest elements of war, black and death metal and mixes them together while also mixing in melodic and ritualistic elements which also gives the songs more of an original feeling, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war, occultism, cosmic, physics and Hermetic Philosophies.
In my opinion Bestialized are a war great sounding mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Hell's Gateway Abattoir" "Everlasting Mark Of Uroboros" and "Bestialized (Harassment Black Fire)".

Esce in edizione limitata a cinquecento copie, sotto l’egida della Satanath Records – giovane etichetta russa sempre molto attiva nello scovare in giro per il mondo i gruppi più violenti e brutali –, questo “Termestella Cvltvs”, terza fatica sulla lunga distanza dei colombiani Bestialized. E cosa aspettarsi da una band con un nome tanto delicato e di stanza a Bogotà? Certamente non atmosfere soffuse, raffinate sperimentazioni o conturbanti melodie. Ed infatti i nostri badano unicamente a picchiare duro, a suon di black/death/thrash metal d’annata, coniugato con grandissima rabbia ma accompagnato – il che non guasta – da una discreta perizia tecnica (ascoltare ad esempio i numerosi e fulminei assoli di stampo slayeriano che costellano i vari pezzi). Più ancora che da un drumming come da copione tellurico ed assassino, la furia iconoclasta e la blasfema cacofonia sprigionate dalla musica di questo quartetto sono veicolate dai taglienti ed infernali intrecci chitarristici, opera del demoniaco duo Volkh Nox Lucipher e B-Mort (entrambi anche cantanti). La proposta è devastante e senza un attimo di respiro, e, pur non risultando minimamente originale, riesce ad essere sufficientemente varia da soddisfare anche i fruitori più smaliziati ed avvezzi a questo genere di sonorità. Personalmente, per il maelstrom sonoro generato e l’attitudine senza compromessi, mi hanno ricordato molto acts come Bleeding Fist, Infernal War, Kult Ov Azazel e Thornspawn od anche i nostrani Handful Of Hate, senza tralasciare qualche riferimento ai Morbid Angel nei momenti più death oriented. Piaceranno ai maniaci dell’old school e a quanti sono alla ricerca di sangue e ferocia belluina.

Il terzo album dei colombiani Bestialized è terremotante. Dopo l’introduttiva ‘Harverst Thoes’, una sorta di strano mix all’incontrario, le porte dell’inferno più nero si schiuderanno dinnanzi a voi. Black metal sporco e immondo, inzozzato col thrash più oscuro e nefasto, in un’orgia occulta e sfrenata. Una mitragliata di riff senza pause vi scuoteranno da capo a piedi, portandovi alla pazzia più completa. Una voce caustica, arcigna e vomitata vi penetrerà da parte a parte come una lama incandescente, facendovi a brandelli senza alcuna pietà. Il drumming è forsennato, una scarica di blast beat con doppia cassa a velocità telluriche, in grado di spazzare via tutto. Perchè i Bestialized spazzano via davvero tutto e tutti, in un maelstrom infernale e maledetto, in cui l’unica legge che vige è che non c’è nessuna legge. Sono sfrontati, arroganti e assassini, maneggiano la materia con estrema maestria e sono pronti a spaccarvi letteralmente la faccia. Dall’altro lato c’è una sorta di poetica mistica, imbevuta di satanismo, occultismo, guerra e filosofia che li rende quasi degli intellettuali nel radere al suolo ogni vostra difesa. Quindi non provate minimamente ad oppore resistenza, ma piuttosto rassegnatevi a questa agonia sonora, che vi sfiancherà lentamente ed inesorabilmente.

The term “apocalyptic” fits this Colombian horde very well. Their style of choice is fast and brutal black/death, with a certain South American flair prevalent in what they do. While their sound might not be terribly unique, it’s definitely far from being awful, drawing parallels to bands like Impiety and Infernal Execrator.
Termestella Cvltvs offers some truly vicious moments — with tracks like Algorab Domain and Black Sun Servants, the band shows what they’re all about, bringing a good dose of merciless riffs and hard-gitting drumming. The instrumentation, while not excessively technical, is certainly impressive. Each song append tight arrangements, interspersed with dark melodies and a blasphemous atmosphere. I couldn’t help but notice just how much this album reminds me of Impiety’s classic Asateerul Awaleen. The vocals might be an acquired taste since they are quite high-pitched, although extremely hostile in their delivery. There are some backing growls too, which vocally, adds more aggression to the music.
Most of the songs are between three to over four minutes, which is appropriate for this style. The songs are fairly accessible, but it doesn’t compromise brutality. As a result, they’re pretty damn memorable. Overall, this album runs at a pretty menacing duration, featuring nine tracks of war-ridden chaos. I definitely recommend it if you fancy the sounds of bands like Impiety, Surrender of Divinity, or Arkhon Infaustus.

Luego de dos LPs editados en 2007 y 2010, los colombianos Bestialized (B-Mort en voz y guitarra, Rabdos en bajo, Volkh en guitarra, y Ba'al Hammon en batería) nos hacen llegar a través del sello Satanath su nuevo álbum, este “Termestella cvltvs”.
El trabajo está orientado hacia el más rápido, crudo y trve black metal, con mucho énfasis en los riffs, algunos de ellos de muy buena factura.
Se notan las buenas intenciones de la banda por hacer las cosas bien, pero decididamente el sonido y producción logrados no le han jugado una buena pasada (aunque a veces esto es precisamente lo que buscan las bandas, sonar lo más crudo y sucio posible), siendo no obstante posible entrever algunos pasajes interesantes a lo largo del álbum.
Como contrapartida, excelente la presentación del álbum, con booklet a todo color, letras y demás información incluidos.
La avanzada latinoamericana tiene un nuevo exponente de buen nivel, así que podemos sumar a Bestialized al pelotón de bandas extremas que nos están haciendo quedar bien por el mundo.

BESTIALIZED „Termestella Cvltvs“ (Murdher/Satanath) Genre: räudiger Old School Black Metal Mit ihrem dritten Album haben die Kolumbianer einen derart hässlichen, räudigen, tollwütigen Straßenköter von der Kette gelassen, dass man das Vieh einfach lieben muss, selbst wenn es einem gerade die Kehle durchbeißen will. Auf Kompromisse wartet man hier vergebens, stattdessen setzt es knapp 40 Minuten lang die pure Bösartigkeit, gegossen in vernichtend räudigen Black Metal der alten Schule. BESTIALIZED müssen nicht mal volles Tempo gehen, um die maximale Zerstörung zu erreichen – die Mischung aus polterndem Midtempo und schnelleren Passagen kommt dank ihrer ultraauthentischen Umsetzung auch so mit gefletschten Zähnen um die Ecke gebrettert. Dazu geifert und krakeelt Sänger B-Mort, dass man vor dem inneren Auge glatt die blutigen Speichelfäden fliegen sieht. Zuweilen ergeht er sich sogar in hysterisch hohen, überschnappenden Schreien in bester Silencer-Manier, was die beklemmend-verstörende Wirkung von „Termestella Cvltvs“ glatt noch mehr intensiviert. Der leicht rumpelige Sound passt perfekt zu diesem bösartigen Old School-Bastard, womit auch das letzte Sahnehäubchen auf den nach Schwefel dampfenden Hassklumpen gesetzt wurde. Geiles Teil! The autumn sun is setting and as it drops beneath the horizon and the darkness spreads its cold wings, the soundtrack of night emerges from open windows, in a quiet residential area somewhere in the north of Jutland. BESTIALIZED from Colombia is blasting with chaotic Death / Black Metal of the most evil and noisiest kind. Fast riffing with a raw edge to the sound, blasting chaotic drumming, and just as chaotic song structures and evil and quite good screams from deep below, that flows on top of the damnation and ties it decently together. This output is quite one-sided though - a faster and relentless version of MORBID ANGEL, just not done as clever and musically great as ANGEL CORPSE, and then a healthy dose of ultra fast and blasting Black Metal, if you need some senselessness pounded into you, this album is what you need to go to. It lacks a tad of finesse and atmosphere, as it muds a bit too much together and leave you without breath. There are good moments during the album and things that could be build into a couple of lasting tracks, though 8 tracks of pure blastfest is a bit too much, unless you like it really violent. If you do, BESTIALIZED has just made the album for you. If not, "Termestella Cvltvs" might just tire your mind and leave you with a nice ringing for your ears.

Este es uno de esos discos que provocan sensaciones encontradas en mí. Vamos a poner las cosas en su lugar para que sea claro lo que digo. El tercer disco larga duración del cuarteto de Bogotá tiene su lado positivo, pero también le encuentro un lado negativo, y ahora mismo paso a detallar todo esto.
Como positivo puedo destacar ciertas cualidades del grupo que emergen a primera oída. Primero que nada, me llamó la atención gratamente que el sonido de las guitarras no siga los parámetros convencionales del género (Black Metal), sino que poseen otras características en ese rubro. Suenan más anticuadas, sucias y claras a la vez, como si hubieran prescindido de los pedales de distorsión modernos, o del sonido frío y saturado del Black Metal convencional, para hacer uso de un sonido más audible, que hace más reconocibles los riffs; si hasta me atrevo a decir que algo del sonido de las primeras bandas extremas sudamericanas en todo esto, algo que les ayuda a despegarse de la maraña de bandas de Black Metal actuales y sonar realmente ancestrales. Además, logran crear atmósferas diabólicas, y el manejo de los ritmos (realmente rápidos por momentos) es digno de elogio -sin que esto implique que la base rítmica sea algo monumental, pero hacen las cosas bien-.
Luego viene la otra cara de la moneda, el lado menos favorable de la propuesta del grupo: las composiciones. ¿Acaso estoy queriendo decir que Bestialized son malos compositores? No, en absoluto. Lo que sí digo es que la música del grupo suena demasiado común, y bajo esas características, creo que se les va a hacer muy difícil ganarse un lugar en una escena (sobre)saturada de bandas mediocres. O sea, respetan a rajatabla los mandatos del Black Metal más crudo, furioso y malévolo, y nunca pierden esa esencia tan caótica que siempre ha caracterizado al Metal Extremo hecho en Sudamérica. Pero carecen de carisma, no hay nada que les permita despegarse, aunque sea por un instante, de los convencionalismos. Esto no es del todo malo, pues entre ese pandemonium sonoro desatado, hay algunas buenas composiciones, tal es el caso de tracks como "Hell's Gateway Abattoir" y "Cosmic War Maggot", dos brutales piezas del más impío Black Metal. Mas, no hay mucho más para destacar.
Ok, suenan muy creíbles y todo lo que quieran; seguramente, la banda debe ser un infierno cuando tocan en vivo. Pero, y esto no puede ser dejado de lado, hay demasiadas bandas iguales a ellos dando vueltas por ahí, y ya cuesta distinguir a una de las otras, al punto de que no sería descabellado confundir sus nombres.
En resumen, si quieren escuchar un disco de Black Metal puro, sin aditivos ni contaminantes, acá hay un disco correcto al cual se le puede pegar una oída. Ahora bien, si lo que buscas es escuchar algo realmente bueno y desafiante, te recomiendo buscar por otro lado.

Bestialized es una banda formada en Bogotá en el 2004. Llevan 12 años y ya son toda una institución en Colombia, una de las mejores bandas de metal extremo, bastante original en ciertas fases de este álbum, por cierto, os sorprenderán para bien.
Lo que más me gusta de Bestialized es que mezclan elementos de otros géneros de metal, en cuanto al black metal los podríamos comparar con los Marduk, Watain, Cryptsosy, Carphatian Fores o Suffocation. Este es su cuarto larga duración.
El álbum abre con Harvest Throes una especie de Intro donde la banda nos sorprende con unos riffs atmosféricos que recuerdan a los Iron Maiden, pero lo saben llevar a su terreno. Hell’s Gateway Abattoir es un black raw, sucio, agresivo, estridente … de la vieja escuela, recuerda mucho a los Marduk, solo que lo combinan con el medio tiempo donde se ponen épicos y tiran del Pagan. Algorab Domain es un arranque bestial, fijaos en los pequeños detalles. La versatilidad en el riff y sus diferentes texturas, el trabajo en las voces y los blast beats en diferentes fases, saben cómo divertir pese a sonar muy clásicos.
Everlasting Mark Of Uroboros es otro gran tema. Siempre tienen el mismo esquema, un arranque espeso, atmosférico y oscuro para después brindarnos el black raw en bandeja y con atmósfera y medio tiempo pagano.
Black Sun Servants arranca con blast beats estridentes ultrapotentes y ese trémolo veloz con todo el sabor del Black nórdico, nos transmite su ira y su misantropía, siempre con ciertas sorpresas en su música. Cosmic War Maggot vuelve a tener un arranque atmosférico y primitivo, saben cómo contar una historia y trasladarla a otra dimensión. Luego nos proponen un Black Raw pero con un trabajo de batería completamente diferente y con origen en la base rítmica del Punk, buscando las raíces del género Black, el tema más interesante de todo el trabajo.
Clamore Mortem Tumulus (Banshee Inflexion) es el tema más acelerado y alocado de todo el trabajo, muy similar a los Marduk. Nullpunktsenergie (Quintessence’s Reactor) sigue esa misma velocidad pero es mucho más interesante con un trabajo en la distorsión de las guitarras muy notable, logran con continuos cambios de ritmo, aportar cierta frescura sin abandonar el clasicismo que mueve sus composiciones. Bestialized (Harassment Black Fire) es el tema que cierra el álbum y lo vuelve a hacer pensando en Black original y más primitivo.
En definitiva nos encontramos ante un trabajo de Black Raw acelerado estilo Marduk, pero con pinceladas de Black primitivo, con intros atmosféricas y algo de Pagan, suena ultracañero y crudo a más no poder.

No sapete, basta! Io mi trasferisco in Colombia e mi faccio tutto il Sud America. Così mi ascolto tutta una schiera di disgraziati che pensano di essere fermi alla metà degli anni novanta, quando il Death marcio dei Nihilist imperava sulla terra e si pensava che non sarebbe mai morto. E in effetti il genere non morirà per il momento ad ascoltare questi ragazzacci sporchi e cattivi, capaci nel 2016 di registrare un concentrato di malinconia e rancore per l’umanità , sbattuto con violenza e ignoranza in un master di bassa lega e ascoltabile dai più coraggiosi e intenditori grazie alla Satanath. Tempi veloci si ma non esagerati, violenza sulle corde vocali più che su quelle delle chitarre, mentre basso e batteria se ne vanno per i fatti loro su montagne russe sonore lanciate a velocità da far venire il vomito. Insomma, compratevi un alcolico di bassa lega e sbronzatevi impunemente da soli in casa con l’headbanging molesto ascoltandovi questa musica sana e senza filtri. Corna bene bene in alto, grazie.

Bestialized aus Columbien wissen wie der Hase läuft, immerhin gibt es die band bereits seit 2004, auch wenn nur noch B-Mort (Gitarre und Vocals) den Zahn der Zeit überdauert hat. In diesen 12 Jahren kann die Band auf 2 Alben zurückblicken und mit „Termestella Cvltvs“ folgt nun der dritte Streich.
Viel hat sich im Vergleich zum 6 Jahre alten Vorgänger „Bestial Flags of Evilution“ nicht am Sound getan, die Band ist ihrem rohen und aggressiven Black Metal ohne Schnörkel und Kompromisse treu geblieben. Doch zunächst startet ein ruhiges Intro mit verstörenden Vocals, dann startet der diabolische Terror. 8 Songs (+Intro -> 9), 37 Minuten Schwärze im Uptempo-Bereich. Disharmonisch schreddern sich die Gitarren durch die Songs, während das Schlagzeug ihnen donnernd mit Blast Beats folgt. Der Sound ist roh und die Vocals fauchen und keifen böse, im Hintergrund verstärken dunkle Growls die Boshaftigkeit. Bestialized liefern Black Metal wie man ihn von alten Marduk gewohnt ist und halten damit auch nicht hinterm Berg, auch wenn die gesampelten Panzer fehlen. Aber wer braucht schon Pausen, wenn es auch so geht? Und so fesseln sie mit roher Gewalt und messerscharfen Songs.
Bestialized lassen ein weiteres Mal traditionsbewusst die Fahne des High Speed Black Metal im Wind der Verstärker wehen und liefern ein durch und durch kraftvolles sowie kompromissloses Werk auf die Welt los, das im Schrank zwischen Marduk und Infernal War nicht fehlen sollte.

Il Sudamerica è terra dove l’underground estremo è ben radicato, d’altronde le condizioni sociali di ogni paese sono storicamente al limite e nei sobborghi di metropoli ormai trasformate in enormi ghetti dormitorio, nidificano orde malefiche devote al nero culto dell’estremismo sonoro di reminiscenze black e death.
In Colombia, precisamente a Bogotà, vive nell’ombra questa creatura oscura e cattivissima di nome Bestialized, votata alla guerra, all’occultismo ed alla misantropia.
Il quartetto nasce nel 2004, una dozzina d’anni a suonare metal estremo in giro per la pericolosissima regione natia ed un tris di lavori sulla lunga distanza, di cui questo Termestella Cvltvs è l’ultimo devastante e maligno parto.
I Bestialized si muovono su territori black cari alla vecchia Europa del Nord, ma non disdegnano sfuriate di stampo thrash e buone idee ritmiche che variano l’input dei brani, assolutamente evil e senza soluzione di continuità.
Buono l’uso delle due tonalità, scream/growl, un duetto che si ripete in quasi tutte le songs dell’album che sicuramente non annoia l’ascoltatore, specialmente chi dei suoni descritti si nutre da tempo.
Una carica notevole smuove questi nove brani che formano quasi quaranta minuti di black metal d’assalto, trascinato dall’ottimo lavoro ritmico e da una violenza attitudinale sopra le righe.
Manca quel quid che farebbe di Hell’s Gateway Abattoir, Black Sun Servants e compagnia un buon ascolto anche per chi non ha confidenza con il sound oscuro e demoniaco per eccellenza, rimanendo confinate nel classico lavoro only for fans, ma non credo che ai Bestialized importi un granché.

Z vesmíru k nám, zdá se, proudí jen samá černá a temná energie. Lidem jakoby narostly přes oči neprůhledné, sklovitě slizké blány. Nevidí, neslyší, necítí okolní svět. Jsou uzavřeni jen ve svých mikrokosmech, zmateni a odsouzeni ke smrti ze zoufalství. Okultismus, války, strach, utrpení. To jsou hlavní propriety pravého reálného black metalu. Tentokrát z Kolumbie a zahraného bez jakýchkoliv pochyb. Ortodoxní přístup se téhle kapela vyplácí. Je to sice materiál ve stylu MARDUK, INFERNAL WAR, AD HOMINEN, KULT OF AZAZEL, ale je to také nenávist, zhmotněná na hudební nosič. Jsou splněny veškeré požadavky žánru a navíc je přidána u tohoto stylu hrozně důležitá věc, uvěřitelnost. Tam, kde působí většina evropských kapel legračním dojmem a hraním si na zlo, tak BESTIALIZED vrážejí obrácené kříže jeptiškám do chřtánu.
Black metalový underground má svá nepsaná pravidla a ty jsou dodržena bezezbytku. Nějaké slitování nebo nedej Satan přívětivost zde nečekejte. Dostanete jen smršť ledových riffů, smrtonosných bicích a krutého vokálu. Budete prosebně volat číslo 666 do tmy a nutit svého kněze, aby plivl do svěcené vody. Už zase hoří ohně, už opět přichází postava Belzebuba na zem. "Termestella Cvltvs" je jako studeně krvavá tříšť, podávaná se skelnou vatou přímo do vašeho krku. Podobná hudba mě dusí, kroutí mi páteří a nutí sklánět se směrem dolů, do podzemí. BESTIALIZED jsou po dlouhé době black metalovou kapelou, která mě zaujala. There are certain words that get used in all its forms when naming a band. Beast and Demon being the two most recurring words. And Bestialized is not the most uncommon word for a band even though I can’t really think of any other bands with the same name right now. I have a certain expectation on how I want my Colombian death/black metal acts to sound like. No wimping out. Just full on metal assault. And BESTIALIZED are exactly what I expected them to be. Primitive in sound but full on the attack. This is black metal at the harder end of the specter.

Metal from South America and then especially black metal and death metal have always something raw over them and something sharp to the,. That also applies to Bestialized from Colombia. Is it the hard knock life there which has its impact on the music? I think it must be. Even though Bestialized plays standard raw fast black it is enthusiastic as fuck. It exudes anger. The band really does mean what they’re playing. Many a band from the US and Europe can learn a thing or two from that. Original? No. But goddamn that enthusiasm and anger totally compensate that. When listening to an album such as ‘Termestella Cultus’ I don’t mind it sounding like so many other bands. What discerns the band from many of their subgenre colleagues is not so much the control of their instruments and the songs as such, it’s their unbridled energy, enthusiasm and anger.

Black metal vitaminado com esteróides é algo que podemos apelidar o terceiro álbum dos colombiano Bestialized. "Termestella Cvltvs" é uma proposta de black metal simples e unidimensional que logo à primeira audição provoca reacções de amor/ódio. Para quem gosta de algo directo, sem grandes variações, poderá sentir-se em casa com este álbum, no entanto, no que nos diz respeito, é um tipo de trabalho que poderá cansar rapidamente, não oferecendo nenhuma dinâmica entre as músicas. Ainda assim, poderá cativar os que têm um fraquinho pelas melodias típicas de tremolo picking. É isso e pouco mais.

Founded in 2004 in Bogotá, Colombia, in the mind of B-Mort. BESTIALIZED has established itself as one of the most important bands in the Black Metal during these 12 years. His technique involving extreme sound and forcefulness, mixed with own harmonic forms of Black Metal and Death Metal as well as elements of different genres of metal, has allowed him to develop a very strong and noticeable style. The drums follow in the same vein with blasting drumming, the drummer puts in an extremely well done playing, he knows how to write some fantastic patterns that compliment the songs well. The vocals are raw, blackened screams mixed in among some dark death growls. If you are a fan of chaotic black death metal, then look no further Bestialized, with their fine new album.

Bogotà è la casa dei Bestialized, formazione black metal priva di fronzoli che mi è stata recapitata da Satanath Records, la quale ha collaborato con MurdHer per pubblicare "Termestella Cvltvs", terzo album realizzato dal 2004 (anno di fondazione) a oggi.
La proposta è facilmente inquadrabile dentro quello che definisco «fast & furious black metal». I Colombiani sfruttano una base di blast beat per vomitare scale chitarristiche affilate e vertiginose, con qualche accenno più o meno melodico, e uno scream piuttosto stridulo: un assalto senza soluzione di continuità, con rarissime variazioni sul tema e che i rallentamenti piazzati in ogni brano non stemperano per nulla. Se pensate che i brevi campionamenti inseriti nei pezzi rappresentano i momenti che li differenziano maggiormente, capirete quanto sia coesa e omogenea la botta di suono prodotta.
Durante l'ascolto di "Termestella Cvltvs" ho percepito lo stesso identico limite in possesso dei Cirith Gorgor: potreste trovare alcune singole canzoni addirittura entusiasmanti per la smania di picchiare che possiedono; giunti a una manciata di pezzi, inizierete però a ridimensionare i giudizi e ad aggrottare le sopracciglia; finendo poi con lo storcerete il naso al termine della scaletta... Non me ne vogliano B-Mort, Rabdos, Volkh e Ba'al Hammon, ma ho trovato la loro musica eccessivamente basica, priva di spunti memorabili (e memorizzabili) e piatta, nonostante il tentativo di mantenere le durate dei pezzi contenute e la volontà di piazzare pure alcuni assoli per arricchire il piatto.
In tutta sincerità, preferirei deviarvi verso i massicci Hak-Ed Damm o gli assassini Infernal War, se amate questo filone del black metal.
Come sempre, Satanath Records vi permette di giudicare in prima persona la musica che promuove, anche nel caso dei Bestializard: è sufficiente recarsi sulla pagina Bandcamp dedicata a "Termestella Cvltvs".

Колумбийская блэк-метал мясорубка, включенная на хорошей скорости почти на сорок минут. Которые покажутся для олдовых металлистов турне по черно-металлическому раю... а людям не вовлеченным, которые чураются экстремальной музыки, сие антимелодическое излияние станет настоящим адовым перформансом. Чем оно собственно и является на самом деле.
Темнейшая четверка из Боготы получает крайнее удовольствие от своего музицирования с 2004 года, и за это время выцеживала на черный свет только самые сливки блак-металла, самые лучшие свои находки, самые угрюмые и одновременно пекельные траки. Их-то группа и записывала на диски (сабж - это третий кругляк), а уж издающие конторы запирали в самые темные места своих операционных складов. Как настоящие вампирические изделия, они не терпят солнечного света. Долго там не залеживались, ибо вкусившие продукта от Bestialized всегда отзывались весьма пиитетно и раскупали охотно. Вот и этот диск выпустила российская контора Satanath Records в сотрудничестве с итальянской MurdHer Records на потребу настоящим маньякам черного саунда.
Между прочим, формация начинает этот диск с внушительного интро (где-то половина песен начинается с мистических эмбиентальных дел. Причем они таковы, что, в принципе, хотелось бы услышать, например, финальную компо именно в виде саунд-коллажа, что украшают дорожки этого компакта). Но вот как раз начальная - и есть таковое инфернальное творение, «замаранное» реминисценциями на блюз-рок, с дополнительным деструктивным звуковым «вкладышем» - а это, как оказалось, и есть «паспорт» на это звуковое существо.
Или паспорт - это трак 2? Где со всей колумбийской яростью и страстью музыканты предаются любимому делу — создают истинные гимны Тьме и Войне. Кажется, это олдскул блэк-метал. По намерению и устремлению — 120% true. Не надо называть это музыкой. Черный сверкающий брильянт, получаемый, как каждый алмаз, путем создания ительного давления при помощи, например, термоядерного взрыва. И это не комплиман, говоря по колумбийски. Это констатация, насколько это возможно, сурового фактажа. Это увидит каждый, кто в теме.
Дело в том, что творческий коллектив Bestialized сочиняет от души, постоянно приникая к священной почве Мезоамерики, политой тоннами крови животных (на этой территории), выпущенной во время ритуалов проводимых в честь Бога Солнца. Получается в итоге очень вдохновенно, с явственно ощутимой атмосферой очередного празднества во имя дневного светила. Как ни парадоксально, этот звуковой армагеддон перекликается каким-то образом с тем, что делали финны Импалед назарен, но только, уверяю вас, Bestialized делает это жарче... просто пылающий блэк-метал получается. Таковы здесь гитарные пассатижи(зачеркнуто) пассажи, которые свиваются в сложносочиненный ураган, который не разобрать и искушенному искусствоведу от журнала «Симфонические оркестры Европы»)).
И вокалисты naturally не отстает от этого звукового холокоста. Один из них (бэк-вокалист), кстати, суровый верзила по кличке Волк — а именно Volkh. Видимо, потомок белой эмиграции. Ну или... есть еще варианты.
Реальное бестиальное (Bestialized) звуковое воплощение блэк-металла at his best.

Termestella Cvltvs je treći studijski album kolumbijskog black metal sastava Bestialized iz 2016. godine. U ovih 9 pesama, to jest 37 minuta, bend se potrudio da smesti sve ono što bi jedan black metal album trebalo da čini dobrim. Ali, da li su napravili dobar album? Da vidimo. Ultra brze blast beat deonice, vrišteći vokal, režeća gitara, tu i tamo po koja melodija, Mardukovska agresija... i to je to. Pesme na albumu prilično liče jedna na drugu, mada uprkos tome on nije dosadan za slušanje, a ako ste posvećeni fan žanra, onda ni užitak neće izostati. Pesme koje se prilikom prvom slušanja izdvajaju su Everlasting Mark of Uroboros, koja je sa tehničke strane ujedno i najjači momenat albuma, kao i nemilosrdno žestoka Black Sun Servants. Ono što najviše para uši na ovom izdanju je vokal koji bi više išao uz neku hladnu i sirovu produkciju, ali ni to im nećemo uzeti za zlo jer ma koliko ovaj scream kvario zvučnu sliku benda istovremeno upravo on i daje tu kakofoničnost od koje mnogi današnji black metal bendovi beže, a koja bi trebalo biti sastavni deo žanra. Summa summarum, Bestialized je ipak samo jedan prosečan black metal bend i Termestella Cvltvs je sasvim prosečan album kojim neće pomeriti granice, ali će sasvim sigurno dopreti do novih fanova i dodatno učvrstiti svoju poziciju na sceni.
