Nekrosadik are a solo project from Mexico that plays a black metal influenced form of dark ambient and experimental and this is a review of his 2013 album "Death Chant Glorification" which was released as a joint effort between Satanath Records, Dead Dog Skull and Heil Hell Productions.

A very dark and atmospheric sound starts off the album along with some drones and nature sounds and the synths bring in more of a dark ambient feeling to the recording and they also use a variety of many different keys and black metal style screams can be heard in some parts off the songs along with some elements of noise.

At times the music can be very avant garde and experimental while a great portion of the tracks are very long and epic in length and when percussion's are utilized they give the songs more of a ritualistic feeling and some songs also bring in a small amount of acoustic guitars and the vocals also get more depressive as the album progresses and there are also some distorted guitars being utilized at times.

Nekrosadik plays a very ritualistic and experimental/avant garde style of dark ambient and brings in a depressive black metal vocal approach to create a style of his own, the production sounds for dark and raw while the lyrics cover death and depression themes.

In my opinion Nekrosadik are a very great sounding black metal influenced dark ambient/experimental solo project and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this artist. Necrosadik are a solo project from Mexico that has been recently featured in this zine and plays a mixture of noise and experimental with a touch of black metal and this is a review of his 2012 compilation album "Folie A Deux" which was released as a joint effort between Satanath Records, Dead Dog Skull, and Heil Hell Productions.

A very dark and melodic sound starts off the album along with some drones and depressive black metal screams as well as some harsh noises and some songs also bring in a small amount of acoustic guitars which also gives the songs more of an avant garde feeling while electic guitars can also be heard at times.

Some of the tracks are very long and epic in length along with all of the music sticking to a very slow musical direction and some songs also bring in a small amount of keyboards while they are done in more of a primitive fashion and there is also a brief use of spoken word parts as the compilation progresses and the compilation closes with a cover of Marylin Manson's "The Man That You Hear".

On this compilation Necrosadik plays a very experimental and avant garde style of music with elements of noise and black metal, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover darkness and depression themes.

In my opinion this is a very great sounding album from Necrosadik and if you are a fan of noise, experimental and black metal, you should check out this compilation. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "It Hurts To Be In Pain" "Cold Is Everywhere" "Reacher Of Blood" and "Severe Depression".

Un effettivo, tragico e tenebroso inizio apre questo album di non facile ascolto. Ma questo è ciò che prevede il genere: prendere o lasciare.

Perché qui è di experimental dark  black metal che si parla o meglio una sorta di doom ridotto all’osso mescolato ad un dark ambient che può farci ricordare gli MZ 412.

Un cantato drammatico con una voce tra lo screaming e il pianto disperato di un’ anima priva di qualsiasi speranza di sollievo dal dolore della vita e che anche nell'agonia della morte, lascia che gli ultimi attimi, prima del grande buio, siano di patimento e disperazione.

Quì non ci sono spiragli di sole ma solo gelida notte.

Mentre nei primi album di questo artista messicano (i Necrosadik sono una one man band) veniva rappresentato e palesato il terrore per la morte, in questo disco il concetto viene rovesciato dove troviamo  una glorificazione della fine della esistenza come fuga dal dolore della vita ma anche come estremo ed ultimo atto di masochismo.

Di brano in brano, l'album è un susseguirsi di gelide note di piano accompagnate da un incessante battito ritmico di un tamburo suonato dallo stesso autore che qui, come in tutti gli altri album, è il solo esecutore di tutti i suoni, cantato e registrazioni per confluire negli ultimi pezzi dove è la chitarra a diventare lo strumento principale, suonata, comunque, sempre in modo monocorde.

Diverso è il pezzo della title track dove un cantato iniziale eseguito all'inverso accompagna una sequenza quasi doom nell'idea se non nella forma.

Una volta finito di ascoltare questo album si resta con addosso l’oscura disperazione ma anche  un malizioso godimento per chi come il nostro autore si autoproclama un masochista innamorato del dolore cerebrale e sentimentale.

E’ anche vero che questo album segue un po’ troppo i soliti stilemi di questo genere non offrendo grossi cambiamenti tra i vari pezzi…coerenza o mancanza di varietà?

Sono ben 11 gli album di Necrosadik di cui questo è solo il nono, tutti autoprodotti assieme a singoli, EP e  split, a partire dal 2008 ,dove ha anche inciso alcune cover, a dire il vero interessanti come ‘’My Way di Frank Sinatra’’ fra le varie.

Ora pare essersi fermato per un periodo di stasi creativa.

Questo è un disco oscuro per anime oscure, desiderose di continuare ad struggersi nel dolore e nella più grande tristezza.

Nel frattempo auguriamo a Necrosadik un ritorno nel mondo musicale con rinnovata voglia artistica e con, magari, un briciolo di originalità in più.
