This is a review of a split album between Mexico's Abysmal Depths and Warmageddon and Indonesia's Nicronomodez and Sereignos called "Total Satanic Genocide" which was released in 2013 by Satanath Records and we will start off the review with Abysmal Depths a band that plays a depressive form of black metal.
Their side of the split starts out with acoustic guitar playing along with some synths a few seconds later which also gives the music a very dark atmosphere and after the into the music goes into more of a heavy musical direction along with some grim and high pitched screams that also takes the music into more of a raw and depressive black metal direction.
At times the music brings in an atmospheric 90's style and the solos and leads are also in a very dark and melodic musical direction and they also keep the synths and also bring in clean playing at times and the music sticks to mostly a slow or mid paced musical direction and there is also a brief use of spoken word parts on one of the tracks, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover depression and nature themes.
In my opinion Abysmal Depths are a very great sounding depressive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Entered Your Fucking World".
Next up is Nicronomodez a band that plays a very raw form of black metal.
Their side of the split starts out with classical guitar playing and a few seconds later the music starts going into a very fast and raw black metal direction that also utilizes blast beats and grim yet high pitched screams while the mid tempo parts have a 90's feeling to them along with a touch of thrash.
The solos and leads bring in even more of a dark and melodic sound and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on their side of the recording and clean playing and synths can also be heard at times while some of the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody at times and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, the production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics are written in a mixture of English and Indonesian and cover Satanism, Mystical, Sexuality, Darkness, and Eternity themes.
In my opinion Nicronomodez are a very great sounding raw, melodic and atmospheric old school black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should chekc out t heir side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Vampire Satan".
Next up is Sereignos a band that has been featured before in this zine and plays a raw and blasphemous mixture of black and death metal.
Their side of t he split starts out with a very raw and old school black metal sound along with some blast beats a few seconds later while the solos and leads bring more of a death metal style to the bands musical style and when the music speeds up it brings in a very raw style of war metal along with some high pitched screams and all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and you can also hear some back up shouts at times. the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover evil, blasphemy and destruction themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Sereignos and if you are a fan of black, war and death metal, you should enjoy their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Devilust Abomination".
Closing the split is Warmageddon a band that plays a raw and satanic form of black metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a very slow, raw and 90's influenced black metal style and after a minute grim screams make their presence known in the songs while some of the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats are utilized and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and they also bring in one track that is very long and epic in length, the production sounds very dark, raw and old school while the lyrics cover Blasphemy, Chaos, Death, Satanism and Anti Life themes.
In my opinion Warmageddon are a very great sounding raw and old school satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of t he split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Night Of Satan".
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of depressive, raw, war and satanic black metal.

Четыре группы, двадцать треков, Индонезия и Мексика – попахивает отборнейшей чернухой. Открывает диск мексиканская четверка с самым вычурным логотипом, а точнее вполне качественно записанная интруха с акустической гитарой и синтами. Ну, думаю, неплохо. А вот основной стафф вызвал двоякое чувство: чуть менее чем дохрена ревера, в мешанине которого тонут гитары, изредка выплевывая очень интересные соляки. Доминируют барабаны и синты. Вообще музыка мелодична, но группа не рассчитала с гитарными частотами, и выдвинула вперед синты, отчего довольно низкие гитары оказались заперты в унитазе, откуда и нарезают вполне себе тяжелый уголь, благо все музло базируется на клавишах. Вердикт – твердая четверка, ибо Abysmal Depths творят качественную по наполеннию музыку, но про ревер им надо бы забыть. Далее следуют индонезийцы Nicronomodez, которые убивали меня напрочь, когда пытались наиграть что-то люто/бешено быстрое, но воскрешали вполне удачными среднескоростными кусками. Когда вокалист пытается сделать каркающий скрим – это как серпом по яйцам и ушам, лучше бы все же он остановился на низком окологроулинге. Качество записи здесь повыше, тоже присутствуют клавиши, но совсем немного. Музыка проста и штампована, присутствуют перепады настроения (мажор/минор), да еще эта идиотская фотка в буклете, где толпа разукрашенных под арлекино ахтунгов корчит морды. Да, на фотке девять беломордых, а состав заявлен на пять человек, к тому же металархивы упоминают о втором гитарюге, но сколько я не пытался, мои уши его не расслышали. Не впечатлило, серенько и безлико. Следом хреначат Sereignos, и это именно та музыка, которую я ожидаю, когда вижу Индонезию. Злобный, пулеметный, завывающий козлоблэк. Ну да, смотрим на разворот, и видим типичный гоат-бэнд. Хаотичная, скоростная, сбивающаяся, низконастроенная музыка со скотским вокалом, выплевывающим проклятия. Уух, самый четкий BM-взвод на сплите. И даже меняющийся саунд от трека к треку моего мнения не поменял. Завершает этот аудиошабаш мексиканский дуэт Warmageddon. Плюс в том, что я слышу, что вся инструментальная часть записана живьем, минус в том, что на этот шикарно звучащий в меру реверный, но отчетливо различимый инструментал коряво наложен сдавленный вокал, как будто певец ртом писался у себя дома и боялся напугать соседей воплями (что хаха, я сам так делал). Ну, если о хорошем, то сыграно все четко и без косяков, благо риффы не слишком сложны, но мрачны. Типичный BM. Весь сплит оцениваю на 4+, с первого раза вьехал только в одну группу со своим взыскательным слухом, но позже оказалось, что все же большая часть компиляции достойна внимания. Чего и вам советую. Вот еще б по громкости они были выровнены, и полный цимес.
