Moonkult was founded in 2011 by Moonlord Akhkharu as a solo project to bring back the old spirit of Black Metal. Moonkult musically emphasizes darkness and aggression and with the current development putting more focus on dynamics on top of those. Lyrically, there is a continuing theme of enslavement of ascended beings by lesser creatures. Representing in someway the current state of humans, in the core being "enlightened" but trapped inside mental mechanisms of slavery. Moonlord Akhkharu recorded and self-released a demo called "Tears of Seers" in 2012 and after the release of the demo, R.I.P aka Riku Polameri (Malicious, Hautakammio, Vapour, Yggr) joined forces as a session drummer for recording Moonkult debut release called "Profane Nightmare of Seers". Later in 2012, Niflungr from another local band Azaghal joined as session bassist for recording bass lines for this coming Black Metal Storm. The album, "Profane Nightmare of Seers" was finally released by Misanthropic Art Productions in spring 2013. During that year, Niflungr joined Moonkult as a full-member and during later part of the same year a split with Solus (Hun) was recorded with Lima (Azaghal, Hautakammio, Lathspell, Sawhill Sacrifice) filling the role of session drummer. Currently the band is plannig to do concerts in the coming year with the line-up consisting of all of the artists mentioned in this text.
Solus is a one-man band from Nagyatád (Hungary) that mix Black Metal and Ambient. Founded in 2006. The project was started by D (Earth Plague, Origin Of Plague, ex-Malediction). The musical ideology is to create sombre, spiritual Black Metal mixed with atmospheric synth lines to take the listener to a transcendental journey. Lyrically with this release Solus takes the first steps to something new. "Transmissions" is about the cosmogony of ancient ugric shamanic traditions. It represents the worldview of that old belief, the parallel of mythology an natural phenomenons. A spiritual journey the an ancient world…
