Satarial - московская группа, начавшая своё существование в 1989 году в качестве первого black metal-коллектива в СССР «Ad Maiorum Satan Glorium», основанная музыкантом Lord Seth. В 1993 году изменила своё название на «Satarial». С 1995 года неотъемлемой частью живых концертов SATARIAL является театрализованное шоу, постановки которого включают в себя мистику, вампиризм, фетиш, средневековую эстетику. Также на концертах группы зритель может насладиться зрелищными пиротехническими эффектами и VJ`s show. Шоу театра Satarial не раз становилось победителем международных фестивалей, награждено многочисленными грамотами и призами. Группа дала более 1000 концертов в Москве, других городах России и многих странах ближнего и дальнего зарубежья. Позже постепенно сместила акценты в своём творчестве от блэка в сторону «индастриал» музыки. За всё время было выпущено 5 полноформатных альбомов, 1 демо-компиляция, множество переизданий, несколько видео-клипов, а также 3 полноценных концертных видео и документальный фильм «Gothic Rush». Нынешний стиль группы можно охарактеризовать как Gothic/Industrial Black Metal с элементами фольклора. Именно это сочетание придаёт оригинальное звучание композициям Satarial.
The story of a group Satariаl starts with a group of "Ad Maiorum Satan Glorium" in 1989. When 3 guys Seth (vocal & guitar), Usurper (bass) and Leprosy (drums) decided to make music like Venom, Bathory or Hellhammer. Concerts AMSG took place in absolutely underground atmosphere: abandoned churches, warehouses, basements e.t.c. Musical performances were accompanied by satanic rituals and bloody sacrifices of sacrificial animals. The group members were radical for all people, not perceiving Satanism and black metal. And they on music and life earned by robbery, because it was very difficult to get a job with such an appearance. After the desecration of a Church in the one village all members of the group were arrested. The court USSR recognized the activity of a group of anti-Soviet. The name of the group and its music were prohibited. Seth was sent to the psychiatric clinic. And the rest of the group - members into the army. The group recorded a demo in 1989. And after 1990 and 1992 the group was not active. In 1992 Seth decided to resume musical activities. And started to assemble a new team of musicians. But in 1992, in the centre of the city he cuts the throat to the christian, which fell upon him. Then comes the lengthy proceedings and he was acquitted because the court acknowledged it as self-defence. In 1993 Seth gets exonerating conclusion. And then Seth decides to change name of the group on "Satarial". And make the sound of black metal medieval influence. And in 1993, the group comes on keyboards Angel Bust. She brings in the sound and philosophy groups witchcraft, nature harmony and balance. By 1995, a new programme and composition of the group was formed. And by this time at the concert for the first time were used rituals with female Nude body and jousting tournaments. In 1995 the first in Russia the festival devoted to the unholy music Black Mass, the "religious" extremists shoots in members of band Satarial. After that, the composition of the group changes and comes a new drummer Demogorgon.
Вся история коллектива это борьба за свободу мысли, слова и вероисповедания. После ареста участников тогда ещё A.M.S.G. в 1989 году, правительство СССР запретило эту группу, отправив Сэта в психолечебницу, а оба других музыканта были вынуждены идти в армию. В 1992 году Сэт решает возобновить музыкальную деятельность, однако попадает в новое и долгое судебное разбирательство, где в конце концов был оправдан, и в 1993 появляется Satarial. Музыка теперь становится более "средневековой", особенно когда в коллектив пришла клавишница Angel Bust. К 1995 году была сформирована новая концертная программа и состав группы. Однако на первом же российском фесте в группу стреляют некие "религиозные" экстремисты. Место барабанщика занимает Demogorgon. В 1996 году группа выпустила альбом "And the flame will take the temples of christ", а в 1998 - "The Queen of the Elves Land", после чего стала практически запрещённой в России, концерты отменялись один за другим. В 1999 году группа была обвинена в поджогах церквей и осквернении кладбищ, но в 2000 была оправдана (хотя до 2001 концерты так и не были разрешены). В 2001 Satarial выпустила альбом "Heidenlarm", который был плохо встречен на родине из-за неготовности слушателя к преобладанию фолка в метал-музыке. В 2002 было выпущено демо "Larm", записанное в 2000, но не изданное из-за запретов. В 2005 Satarial делает небольшой уклон в сторону industrial - тексты и музыка становятся менее агрессивными. Выходит альбом "Tanz mit... Tod", группа перестает быть запрещённой и начинает активно гастролировать. В 2006 Angel Bust обвиняется в совершении ритуальных убийств, но дело разваливается за отсутствием состава преступления. После этого Satarial расстались с барабанщиком и басистом. Далее Сэт выпускает сольный экспериментальный альбом "Latexxx" под вывеской Satarial. C 2008 до 2010 группа уезжает в длительный тур в Турцию. В 2011 Сэт снова формирует команду и место ударных занимает Angelika. Коллектив возвращается к старому звучанию с влиянием фольклора, тематик колдовства и мистики. И начинает давать концерты в России, что продолжается по сей день.
In 1996 the group released the album "And the flame will take the temples of christ", that by the name immediately falls in the category of restricted in Russia. In 1998 album "The Queen of the Elves Land": presentation of this album at the stadium Wings Of The Soviets was cancelled by the government of Russia due to the use in advertising of satanic symbols, insulting the feelings of believers. In 1999 the band Satarial was accused of involvement in a terrorist organization. Arson of churches and desecration of cemeteries. In 2000 the members of the group Satarial were acquitted. But the concerts of the group until 2001 were banned. In 2001 Satarial released the album Heidenlarm. This album was poorly received by the Russian audience, which at that time were not ready for the strong influence of folklore in the metal music. In 2002 to release of the demo that was recorded during the prohibition in 2000 under the name "Larm". Also this year, Satarial has been banned on the Russian TV channel MTV video clip of "Beloved of the Night". The 2005 Satarial makes a small slope to the industrial music and text groups become less aggressive. In this year Satarial released the album "Tanz mit... Tod". Band ceases to be a banned group and begins to actively touring. In 2006 Angel Bust as an accused of committing ritual murder. It was false, unfounded charges by the government of the prosecution. A Russian court relieves the charges for lack of evidence. After this Satarial parted with the drummer and bassist. And Seth will be releasing a solo experimental album under the name "Latexxx". In 2008 Satarial went to Turkey with long tour until 2010, because band in the this country not have been banned. In 2011 Seth again forms the team and Angelika to the keyboard adds drums. Satarial returned to the old sound black metal with folk influences and entirely to the subject of sorcery & mysticism. And starts to give concerts in Russia only in the dates the magical days festival. The entire history of the group Satarial is a struggle for freedom of thought, expression and for religious freedom.

Новый релиз посвящён кельтскому колдовству. В некоторых песнях поются заклинания и гимны-призывы, направленные к Триединой Богине и Рогатому Богу. Название альбома "LUNAR CROSS" в мистическом понятии (в отличие от солнечного креста) - движение против часовой стрелки в символическом изображении вихря, от света к тьме, от иллюзий к истинному, от жизни к смерти. Диск полностью передаёт атмосферу луны, колдовской природы, красоты и свободы ночи.
The new release is dedicated to the Celtic witchcraft. In some of the songs are sung hymns, spells and appeals directed to the Triune Goddess and the Horned Own. Sorcery traditions of the North brought in music Satarial ethnic Influences. The music harmony is based on the ritual combinations of the planets and notes, and melody as the language of the Universe and Nature. The album title "LUNAR CROSS" in the mystical concept (unlike solar cross) - the movement in a symbolic image of the swirl counterclockwise, from light to darkness, from illusion to truth, from life to death. Conveys the atmosphere of the moon, witchcraft nature, beauty and freedom of the night. It's a harmony, it is like a snake that bites its own tail. This is a real ritual, is the initiation and invocation, which pulls out from the illusion to the depths of the primordial chaos.
