The history of Pestkult began in spring 2008. Slaytanic (guitar) and Seuche (drums) came together with the intention to play music in their own style. Short after sound structures emerged and the first songs arose. After several vocalist-changes finally Golzarath joined in Summer 2008. The first demo (lim. 100) and a promo were recorded in autumn 2009. In spring 2010 the first full CD entitled "Soul Collector" was recorded, but not released, due to problems finding a label. In spring 2011 three new songs were recorded. Pestkult split up in 2012! At the end of 2013 Pestkult was reacitvated. In September 2014 the three songs from 2011 were released as part of the 4-way split „Devils work in the witchtower“. Finally in 2015 “Soul Collector” is released through Narbentage Produktionen and Sathanath Records.
