GOLGATA восстала из земли тёмных лесов южной Швеции в 2014 году. Дуэт написал свои первые мелодии о страданиях ещё в 1994. Спустя 20 лет эти потерянные души снова собрались, чтобы стать сосудами для музыки, вдохновлённой историей и природой, окружающей ту часть страны, где проект зародился. Музыка сырая и интенсивная, но в то же время мелодичная и атмосферная. Тексты песен мрачно поэтичны и повествовательны. Объединив музыку и тексты, Golgata исследует прошлое, чтобы изложить свои взгляды на современность. В 2014 году группа записала свои первые песни и самостоятельно выпустила пару мини-альбомов. From the dark woods of southern Sweden, GOLGATA rose from the ground 2014. The story goes deeper than that. The duo wrote their first tunes of misery back in 1994. After 20 years these lost souls was gathered once again to become vessels for music that will become Golgata. The music is inspired by the history and nature that surrounded the part of Sweden where the duo originates. The music is raw and intense but at the same time melodic and atmospheric. The lyrics are darkly poetic and narrative. With music and lyrics combined, Golgata explores the past to describe their view of modern day. 2014 the band recorded their first songs and self-released a couple of mini-albums. Golgata released 3 albums on label Satanath Records - Skam (2019), Tempel (2020) and Ur Eld Och Aska (2022). And now they are back with their fourth full-length. The album "Själabod" is about new beginnings and closure. The lyrics are again in Swedish. And with the writer's poetic touch they will bring you stories about how to overlive the grim reality of life. Golgata is not afraid to put words and music on the deepest thought and to explore the darkest corner of the soul. Project will once again bring you a melodic dark album. The band moves freely between aggressive guitars, growling and clean vocals and melodies which creates a unique blend of black and doom metal. With their wide soundscape they are now back with their most elaborated album so far... For fans of Grift, Windir, Istapp.
