DEWICHOR является post-apocalyptic black metal проектом из Новосибирска, который сформировался после того, как трое музыкантов (Omnicide, Anubis и Lord), работавшие в 2020 году над материалом в жанре death metal, решили в качестве эксперимента попробовать добавить black metal и атмосферность post-metal, а тематикой выбрать фатальность конца света и наполненное болью существование после него. К концу 2021 в составе появился Unholy Diver (Olshanoe), а в начале 2022 года, после многочисленных смен вокалистов, был утверждён Qimmass. Кстати, примечателен факт, что имя банде дал Kingpest, вокалист проекта Мрамор, который недолгое время тоже был в Dewichor на вокале. После этого группа приступила к записи своего первого миника "Ritual" (вышел в январе 2023), а также к формированию сценического образа и выступлениям. Коллектив использует мантии и корпспейнт, что является отражением творчества, а в лайвах воспроизводятся различные пост-апокалиптические сэмплы: взрывы бомб, треск дозиметра, радиопереговоры и воздушная тревога...
DEWICHOR is a post-apocalyptic black metal project from Novosibirsk, which was formed after three musicians (Omnicide, Anubis and Lord), who were working on death metal material in 2020, decided to try adding black metal and post-metal atmosphere as an experiment, and choose the fatality of the end of the world and the pain-filled existence after it as a theme. By the end of 2021, Unholy Diver (Olshanoe) joined the line-up, and in early 2022, after numerous vocalist changes, Qimmass was approved. By the way, it is noteworthy that the name of the band was given by Kingpest, the vocalist of the Mramor project, who was also in Dewichor on vocals for a short time. After that, the band began recording their first mini-album "Ritual" (released in January 2023), as well as forming a stage image and performing. The band uses robes and corpse paint, which is a reflection of their creativity, and their live performances feature various post-apocalyptic samples: bomb explosions, dosimeter crackling, radio communications and air raid sirens...
