Corpse Garden is a death metal act hailing from Costa Rica, Central America. The band was formed in early 2008. Corpse Garden have released two albums: ‘Burnt by the Light’ on 2012 and their upcoming album ‘Entheogen’ that is going to be released on 2015. Corpse Garden began creating new material between late 2012 to late 2013 in which the band suffered some line-up changes including Esteban Sancho on guitars, Carlos Venegas on bass and Felipe Tencio on vocals. Throughout 2014 their second album ‘Entheogen’ was recorded which throws the band’s sound in a different direction and towards a more atmospheric sound.

ENTHEOGEN is the new title of Corpse Garden's upcoming full-length release. A chemical substance that induces altered states of consciousness, often used in a spiritual context, is the perfect analogy for the band's latest concept album. Dealing with the seven stages of Alchemical transformation and Carl Jung's studies of individuation. Entheogen is a combination of death metal with dense atmospheres and psychedelic passages.
