COMATOSE основан в июле 2003 года как студенческий проект в местном университете Себу. Первое демо "Pure Evil & Blasphemy" было записано примерно в феврале-марте 2004. В 2007 году было записано второе демо "Plague Bearer" с изменениями в составе, только Bellz Lee остался оригинальным участником. В июне 2011 был записан дебютный альбом "The Ultimate Revenge", но он был официально выпущен только в 2015 году лейблом Satanath Records. "The Ungodly Lamentations" был вторым полноформатным альбомом, выпущенным в 2018 году лейблом Satanath Records. Год спустя был издан сплит с бандой Diabolic (США).
COMATOSE was formed in July 2003 a college band in a local university in Cebu City. 1st demo "Pure Evil & Blasphemy" was recorded around February to March of 2004. In 2007 was recorded the 2nd demo "Plague Bearer" with line-up changes, only Lee remains the original member. In June 2011 recorded debut album "The Ultimate Revenge" but it was officially released only in 2015 by Satanath Records. "The Ungodly Lamentations" was the 2nd full length released in 2018 by Satanath Records. A year later a split was released with the mighty Diabolic (USA).
