Банда AZAMOTH была сформирована в 2004 году в Иерусалиме. Первоначальными основателями были Scorch, Lord Grief и Azrael. Вскоре к группе присоединился барабанщик Schwarz, в апреле 2005 проект дал свой первый концерт. AZAMOTH was formed in 2004, in Jerusalem. The original founders are Scorch, Lord Grief and Azrael. Soon the band was joined by the drummer Schwarz, and the band had its first live show in April 2005. In 2006 the band toured Europe with Lord Belial, Born Of Sin and Dark Fortress, and soon after self-released their first album, "Eternity". Over the years the band played many gigs in Israel, alongside many local bands as well as international ones, such as Rotting Christ and Mgła.
