Проект Astarium был основан летом 2005 в Новосибирске. Единственным участником Astarium все это время выступает SiN. С самого начала творческой деятельности ориентир был взят на симфоническое ответвление black metal и исключительно студийную работу. За более чем 10-летнюю историю проектом было записано 5 полноформатных альбомов, а также множество EP, демо-записей и сплитов. Музыкальные материалы Astarium издавались в различных странах и уголках мира (России, Европе, США, Латинской Америке и Австралии), и каждая работа отличалась своим уникальным настроением, звучанием инструментов, концепцией и жанровыми переплетениями.
Astarium project was founded in the summer of 2005 in Novosibirsk. The only participant of Astarium all this time is SiN. From the very beginning of the creative activity, the landmark was taken on the symphonic branch of black metal and exclusively studio work. For more than 10-year history, the project recorded 5 full-length albums, as well as many EPs, demos and splits. Astarium musical materials were published in various countries and corners of the world (Russia, Europe, the United States, Latin America and Australia), and each work was distinguished by its unique mood, sound of instruments, concept and genre interlacing.

Молнии озаряли затянутое низкими тучами небо, дождь не прекращался ни на минуту. Я гнал тонущих в грязи лошадей к видневшемуся вдали холму. Внезапно, новая яркая вспышка осветила громаду, выросшую прямо передо мной из темноты. Это был замок “Друм-гул”! Серые полуразрушенные стены и увитые плющом башни говорили о своем возрасте. На всём лежала печать уныния и запустения. Местные жители до ужаса боялись приближаться к замку и обходили его стороной. Однако я отбросил все предрассудки и, пытаясь спастись от гнева стихии, уже стучался в ворота. Внезапно двери открылись. Тогда еще я не подозревал, что захожу во врата преисподней...
Итак, встречайте новый бронебойный патрон в обойме Astarium – альбом, получивший название “Drum-Ghoul”! Это мрачная, леденящая кровь история, рассказанная в 4-х треках олдскульного symphonic black metal. Сильное влияние на музыкальную составляющую оказал культовый альбом Burzum “Hvis Lyset Tar Oss”, отчего музыка получилась очень атмосферной – так Astarium еще не звучал! Если тебе интересно, что же ждет одинокого путника в обители первородного зла, то диск Astarium “Drum-Ghoul” обязательно должен оказаться в твоем проигрывателе!!!
Lightning lit up the sky, covered with low clouds, the rain did not cease for a minute. I drove the horses drowning in the mud to the hill that was visible in the distance. Suddenly, a new bright flash lit up the bulk, which grew right in front of me from the darkness. It was the castle "Drum-Ghoul"! The gray, dilapidated walls and ivy towers spoke of their age. On all lay the seal of despondency and desolation. The locals were afraid to approach the castle to the horror and avoided it. However, I abandoned all prejudices and, trying to escape the anger of the elements, I already knocked at the gate. Suddenly the doors opened. Then I did not even suspect that I was entering the gates of hell...
So, meet a new armor-piercing cartridge in the cage of Astarium - an album called "Drum-Ghoul"! This is a grim, chilling story told in 4 tracks of old school symphonic black metal. A strong influence on the musical component was rendered by Burzum's cult album "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss", which made the music very atmospheric - the Astarium did not sound like that! If you are wondering what is waiting for a lonely traveler to the monastery of original evil, then the Astarium "Drum-Ghoul" must be in your player!!!
