Abysmal Growls Of Despair is a solo project of funeral/drone doom metal from France. The main influence comes from mental disorder and despair, but also Samuel Beckett's words and HP Lovecraft's stories. Nature is present too. And all shapes of love stories want to be avoided.

Between My Dead is an album which narrates a story inspired directly by Hangsvart torments. Hangsvart suffers from schizophrenia, despair and misanthropy. Lots of his hallucinations are about ghouls, undead and monsters, feeding on human corpses. This album relate his wish to leave the human world. The music wants to be hypnotic, minimalist and going in power with the time. The natural growls have only a delay as FX to increase the overwhelming feeling.
