Meno tecnici o articolati dei Nile ma decisamente più epici e tenebrosi, più maligni ed accattivanti. L'uso dei Synth in questo cd è un vero e proprio colpo al cuore, ti prende e non ti lascia più. Struggenti per la bellezza e per l'uso, le linee di tastiera coinvolte unite al riffing old school fanno si che questo To Have Nothing si riveli forse il miglior cd di debutto nel metal estremo. La band viene dalla Bielorussia ed incarna in se come avrete capito elementi dei Nile ma anche dei Behemoth e se vogliamo anche dei Septic Flesh più primordiali. Strutture quadrate e genuine, grande gusto nella scelta delle melodie ma a queste viene accompagnata una ferocia tipica del Death Metal più efferato ed in puro stile Deicide. Il cantato anch'esso è molto personale e nonostante la tonalità bassa non soffoca niente ed anzi mantiene una certa interpretazione. L'alchimia dietro questo lavoro è 1000 volte superiore a qualunque lavoro super pompato, non se ne vogliano male Hour of Penance o Hideous Divinity ma di cd come questo ne escono forse 1-2 in 10 anni, l'ultimo è un certo Elvenefris, non se avete ben presenta la portata di codesto cd. La magia di certi cd nasce e muore in questi lavori e spesso nelle band stesse che si sciolgono in men che non si dica, ma pare non sia questo il caso, resta il fatto che è un lavoro di dimensioni bibliche. Anche se la band si sfalderà rimarrà in eterno un lavoro come To Have Nothing, simbolo dell'imperturbabilità del Death Metal old school anche difronte alle sinfonie del nuovo millennio.

Менее технично и артикуляционно чем у Nile, но, однозначно, более эпично и мрачно, более злобно и привлекательно. Использование клавиш в этом альбоме – реально как “удар по сердцу”, который забирает и не отпускает тебя до конца. Невыносимо прекрасные сочетания клавишных с олдскульными рифами, таковы, что To Have Nothing можно назвать, лучшим дебютным диском в экстремальном металле. Группа из Беларуси воплощает, как вы уже поняли, элементы Nile, Behemoth и даже, если хотите, ранних Septic Flesh. Квадратные структуры и подлинность, отличный вкус в выборе мелодии, который сопровождается типичной свирепостью Death Metal, чисто в отвратительном стиле Deicide. Вокал, в свою очередь, тоже очень своеобразный, несмотря на низкую тональность, он не удушающий, а, наоборот, поддерживает некоторую интерпретацию. Алхимия в этой работе в тысячу раз выше любой суперраскрученой работы, не хочу сказать плохо о Hour of Penance и Hideous Divinity, но такой диск, выпускается, возможно, 1-2 раза в 10 лет, последний это, конечно же Elvenefris, вы даже не имеете представления о важности этого диска. Магия некоторых дисков рождается и умирает в этих работах, часто это происходит в одних и тех же группах, они тают молча, но это не происходит случайно, остается проделанная работа библейских масштабов. Даже если группа распадется, то такая работа, как To Have Nothing останется в веках, как символ невозмутимости Death Metal, как симфония нового тысячелетия.

Divided are a band from Belarus that plays a very technical form of death metal and this is a review of their 2012 album "To Have Nothing" which was released by Satanath Records.
Folk instruments and violins start off the album giving the recording an occult feeling along with the sounds of human torture in the background before going into more of a heavier direction while also keeping around the violins briefly and adding in death metal growls that are also very deep and the faster sections of the music use a great amount of blast beats.
High pitched screams can be heard in some parts of the songs and the tracks also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads also add in a very old school style of death metal and the music also mixes in a great amount of atmospheric sounds along with experimental sounds and synths being utilized at times while the guitar riffs also get very technical at times and the music is also perfectly balanced between both old school and modern death metal.
Divided plays a style of death metal that has its roots in the 90's but also adds in more technical and atmospheric elements to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Thelema, Egyptian and Left Hand Path themes.
In my opinion Divided are a very great sounding technical death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Him To Baphomet" "Demoniac Facility" "Hymn To Nu" and "Shall be The Wholes Of The Law".
