Very dry but clear and powerful production here. If you’re big on vinyl, consider this a brand new record in terms of mastering.
There’s that sort of mix of heft and clarity that can also be described, equally accurately, as a bit too mids-heavy and hissy. It’s no crystalline CD remaster, that’s for damn sure!
The vocals are a bit OTT, with too much GUAHHHHH puke-yelling overlaid with way too much reverb. It more or less buries the guitars, particularly with the sloppy, noisy, utterly crazed drumming here.
Once again, pretty much every track sounds alike*, and it’s all fast, sorta gnarly South American blackthrash, this time from Argentina, home of both Emilio Vieyera and Isabel Sarli. That should mean something, but probably doesn’t. But what the hell, they both made some hilariously entertaining movies!
* exception: the Slayeresque “pest of tomorrow”, which is by far the band’s best foot forward.
Новый мини-альбом аргентинцев Vomit Of Doom все так же, как и предыдущие релизы, беспощадно "снесет крышу" любому ценителю старой школы, передавая своим саундом очень мрачные ведения, как будто бы взятые из самых страшных романов Говарда Лавкрафта. Не знаю, насколько музыканты увлечены подобной мистикой, но музыка очень сильно намекает на традиции последователей Ордена Ктулху - собственно, как и обложка. По крайней мере, когда я вижу черепа с щупальцами осьминогов и слышу подобный дэт или трэш, то мысли возникают именно такие. Все-таки за долгое время существования экстремальной сцены дэт-метал выработал, как мне кажется, свой неповторимый характер, который одновременно является как новым, так и старым. Ну, посудите сами, только за последние пять лет в мире появилось очень большое количество групп, которые используют схожий саунд, отдающий лучшими традициями Possessed, и столь же мрачные темы, как будто вырванные из глубин самого древнего сознания. И несмотря на грязь в звучании, музыка с уверенностью находит своих кумиров, с каждым днем вербуя в свою армию все новых и новых поклонников. Уже в России появилось несколько групп подобного направления, а на на Западе аналогичные артисты популярней, чем более музыкально усваиваемые с коммерческой точки зрения коллективы, так что сказать, что из стран Латинской Америки выходит одна годнота, это просто ничего не сказать. Вот и "Magnus Cruelty" не отошел от канонов и является очень интересной главой, продолжающей лучшие традиции жанра как в звучании, так и в исполнении. Материал доверху набит скоростными трэш-дэтовыми ходами, с высекающимися словно искры риффами, такими же искрометными, короткометражными соло-партиями и злобным рычанием, словно пропитанным зловонием из пасти бешеного зверя. Благодаря подобной музыке, а вернее, музыкантам, первородный дэт-метал до сих пор держится на плаву, несмотря на огромное количество "модников", которые из года в год меняют свой имидж, всегда ищут что-то новое, но в итоге, как и всякий юношеский максимализм, просто исчезают. Очень сложно описывать музыку, которая ничего нового не несет, но тем не менее по прежнему остается самой востребованной в среде металхэдов. Я точно знаю, что это я уже слышал и еще не раз услышу, но все же равнодушным к данному EP не останусь. Отличный релиз, стопроцентно заслуживающий высокой оценки!

Argentinian black/thrash monster is here with a new studio effort. This EP contains 9 blackened anthems which are striking direct at all senses. When you see the artwork of the CD, you instantly get the idea what do you have in front of you.
Everything is done by black/thrash tradition and standards. This is an EP, but it has intro, interlude and outro, which gives us a feeling that we`re listening a full length album. Songs are short and direct, and that is the best thing about this release.
There is that perfect balance, that many bands from this genre are lacking. Production is raw and dirty, just like in the 80s. To me, it sounds similar to Mayhem`s Deathcrush.
It has a really clear Possessed, early Bathory and early Mayhem influences, but in a great way. Songs are a little bit generic, but it still sounds good and interesting enough for the fans of aforementioned bands. Only not so good thing about this release is that songs are almost the same.
There aren`t many changes in tempo and atmosphere, and that`s why sometimes it sounds flat and uninspired. This EP is for the people who like simple music without compromise.

It’s time for a change of pace and mood, thanks to an Argentinian black metal strike force named Vomit of Doom. Their new 20-minute EP is named Magnus Cruelty, and it will be jointly released on October 13 by Symbol of Domination Productions (Belarus), Metal Masala (India), and Morbid Skull Records (El Salvador).
The one song streaming so far is titled “Black Metal Invasion” — an ambitious name for sure (are there any lands left for black metal to invade?), but one that Vomit of Doom earn with their music. Launched by an immediately infectious chugging riff, the song soon bolts forward in a rush of galvanizing black speed metal, accompanied by a vocalist who sounds like a demonic entity in the throes of a bloodthirsty fury.
Along with the riffs, the drumming on this track connects powerfully to the reptile part of the brain, and the expected guitar solo is fiery as hell.
Gdy dostaję do recenzji płyty z Południowej lub Środkowej Ameryki, to wiem, że nie będę się nudził. Pierwotny ogień i brutalność bije z tamtej, egzotycznej dla nas, półkuli świata. Tym razem objawienie przyszło z argentyńskiej ziemi. Jeśli ten kraj kojarzy Wam się wyłącznie z tangiem i Messim (a starszym z Maradoną), to pora podkręcić głośniki, by przekonać się, że w bujnej pampie kryją się oldschoolowi metale gotowi nieźle pohałasować!
Vomit Of Doom to typ kapeli, która nie próżnuje – co prawda podczas swej kilkuletniej działalności wypuścili dotąd tylko jedną długogrającą płytę (album Obey the Darkness z 2015), ale dochodzą do tego liczne EPki, single, splity i demówki. Najnowszy mini album zatytułowany Magnus Cruelty ucieszy tych metalmaniaków, którzy lubią konkretne, niewygładzone produkcyjnie, troszkę szalone granie, poddane jednak klasycznym wzorcom wyrosłym z ducha lat 80. Od razu czułem, że będzie dobrze – gdy po otwierającym płytę oszczędnym, ale złowieszczym Intro pojawił się toporny, niezwykle nośny riff gitary w Black Metal Invasion i wtórujący mu charkotliwy głos wokalisty, wiedziałem, że Vomit Of Doom pomoże mi się przenieść do metalowego nieba… Piekła, znaczy się! Mimowolnie zacząłem trzepać głową i wymachiwać dłońmi w takt perkusyjnych uderzeń. I chyba o to chodzi, by muzyka od czasu do czasu nas opętała.
Panowie nie wymyślają nic nowego: mamy tutaj thrashowe przyspieszenia, brudny heavy/speed metal podlany blackowym sosem. Czasem odezwie się klasyczna, piskliwa solówka gitary (Pest of Tomorrow), innym razem nastąpi wściekły atak riffów (Shadow of Tyranny i Eternal Enemy). Zespół umiejętnie potrafi też zwolnić, by nieco urozmaicić zgrzebną strukturę kompozycji (Sodoma Conquest). Ważne jednak, że kawałki mają w sobie nośność i autentyczność.
No właśnie, w przypadku EPki Magnus Cruelty naturalność wydaje się być słowem kluczem, które otwiera drogę do przedsionków metalowego piekła. Proporcje programowego brudu i czytelności, niepokornej siły i chwytliwości, udało się wyważyć doskonale, przy jednoczesnym braku jakiegokolwiek koniunkturalizmu. Ja lubię udane powroty do przeszłości i umiejętnie sięganie do skarbnicy sprawdzonych patentów, które użyte z pasją, mogą mieć olbrzymią siłę rażenia. Vomit Of Doom posiadł arkana czarnej sztuki wywoływania duchów dawnej metalowej szkoły, materializujących się z pomocą obskurnych riffów.

A América do Sul está cada vez mais evidência no que diz respeito ao metal podre, no entanto, para nós não é novidade nenhuma já que no que diz respeito a metal primitivo e próximo das raízes, já há muito tempo que temos excelentes propostas vindas de lá. Um dos nomes clássicos da Argentina são estes Vomit Of Doom, uma banda de black/thrash metal vitaminado que parece ter saído das entranhas da década de noventa. A banda tem só um álbum e uma série de splits e EPs, sendo que este "Magnus Cruelty" é mais um EP, curto e grosso mas sem grandes momentos memoráveis. Ainda assim, a sua brutalidade acaba por compensar esse aspecto. Para quem vive e respira underground, este será um lançamento recomendado.

Prvi taktovi ovog EP izdanja po imenu Magnus Cruelty benda Vomit of Doom, su me srušili, patosirali i iscedili mozak kroz nos. Ne mogu da sakrijem oduševljenje i to da sam pod utiskom. Ovo izdanje u sebi nosi odd school thrash zvuk obojen black i crust uticajima. - Kombinacija kakvu najviše volim!
Jedna od stvari na koje dosta obraćam pažnju je i knjižica koja ide uz izdanje te, naravno moram izradu iste pohvaliti - naročito čeoni deo istog.
Izdanje otvara mračni intro iza koga se ređaju sedam brzih i aranžmanski kompletnih-zrelih pesama koje nosi još bolja produkcija. Ne želim da posebno favorizujem neke od pesama kada je jasno da mi se kompletno izdanje nenadjebivo sviđa.

Vomit Of Doom are a band from Argentina that has an album reviewed before in this zine and plays a blackened form of thrash metal and this is a review of their 2016 ep "Magnus Cruelty" which was released as a joint effort between Symbol Of Domination Productions, Metal masala, and Morbid Skull Records.
Dark sound effects start off the ep and after the intro the music goes into more of a heavy thrash metal influenced direction along with some black metal screams and the riffing adds in a lot of 80's South American death, thrash and black metal influences while sounding modern at the same time.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and melodies can be heard in the guitar riffing and the solos and leads also remain true to an old school style while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and there is also a brief use of spoken word samples before returning back to a heavier direction and the vocals also add in a touch of early death metal.
Vomit Of Doom creates another recording that remains true to the blackened thrash metal sound of t heir previous release, t he production sounds very heavy with an old school touch while the lyrics cover revenge, Satanism and death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Vomit Of Doom and if you are a fan of black and thrash metal, you should check out this ep.

Si sa, l’abito non fa sempre il monaco, ma se arrivi dal Sudamerica e ti chiami Vomit Of Doom, non serve poi molta fantasia per ipotizzare che, con molta probabilità e con buona pace dei luoghi comuni, la tua proposta si basi su sonorità orgogliosamente old school che magari affondano le proprie radici in quel proto-Black Metal che nasceva negli anni ottanta. Questo è stato più o meno il mio pensiero quando mi è capitato tra le mani questo “Magnus Cruelty”, il nuovo EP del per me sconosciuto trio argentino di General Roca, che può comunque già vantare una discografia abbastanza corposa tra split, EP ed un full length uscito un paio d’anni fa. Questo mio presentimento si è in effetti visto confermato non appena è finita la breve “Totality. Intro” ed è partito il riff di “Black Metal Invasion”, perciò restava solo da valutare se la proposta dei nostri fosse o meno in grado di andar oltre il classico compitino senza troppe pretese che spesso molte band del genere finiscono per propinarci. Se state leggendo queste righe ovviamente vuol dire che questi argentini qualcosa in più ce l’hanno, e questo nonostante facciano poco o nulla per nascondere le prinicipali influenze del loro Black/Thrash, ovverosia i primi lavori di gruppi come Bathory, Sepultura, Blasphemy e Celtic Frost. L’evoluzione a tutti i costi e la velleità di suonare originali, come avrete certamente capito, non sono insomma proprio di casa da queste parti, ma il riffing proposto dai Vomit Of Doom è di quelli che coinvolge facilmente e che, tutto sommato, ti si stampa velocemente in testa, caratteristiche queste che, alla fin fine, per me fanno la differenza in sede di valutazione di questo tipo di uscite. Se poi aggiungiamo che la breve durata, neanche venti minuti, rende ancora più fruibile e scorrevole il tutto, un ascolto è quasi obbligatorio per gli amanti del genere.

Niech was nazwa kapeli nie zmyli. Żadnego doom metalu Argentyńczycy z Vomit Of Doom nie grają. Grają za to black/thrash jakich wiele. Lubicie Toxic Holocaust? Destroyer 666? Tak, wiem że niedawno o nich wspominałem ale Ci panowie najlepiej oddają styl jaki zaprezentowany jest na tej dziewięcioutworowej epce. Szybko, do przodu i wg. ogranych przez pierdyliard kapel schematów. Przeciętniak ale całkiem miły w odbiorze.

È la seconda volta che gli argentini Vomit Of Doom finiscono su Aristocrazia: la prima occasione avvenne agli inizi del 2016 con l'album "Obey The Darkness", recensito dal nostro svizzero Ul Fieschi. Adesso, il sottoscritto si ritrova fra le mani l'EP "Magnus Cruelty", la cui durata complessiva non raggiunge la ventina di minuti.
Come scritto in passato dal mio collega, i musicisti se la giocano sul semplice, proponendo brani thrash metal dalla composizione mai troppo complessa, preferendo puntare su ritmiche incalzanti e cattiveria per portare a termine il proprio spietato dovere.
Il suono è devoto a maestri statunitensi quali Slayer e Possessed, a cui potremmo tranquillamente affiancare sia realtà contemporanee per nascita, come i canadesi Slaughter, sia tratti di formazioni più odierne, tipo i Nocturnal Graves. Bisogna, però, mettere in chiaro che i Vomit Of Doom non sono al livello di nessuna delle realtà sin qui tirate in ballo, seppur scatenati e alquanto goderecci
Inserito il disco e oltrepassata l'introduttiva "Totality", i Nostri partono subito in quarta con "Black Metal Invasion". I riff, gli assoli, i pattern di batteria e la voce di Venomous Abominator sono quanto già abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare un numero irripetibile di volte. Anche in questa circostanza l'impatto e la prestazione verace del gruppo non dispiacciono: gli assalti successivi, "No Divine" ed "Eternal Enemy", mostrano l'aggiunta di grinta e convinzione, oltre all'ABC del genere; ulteriori riprove sono poi fornite in "Shadow Of Tiranny", "Pest Of Tomorrow" e "Sodoma Conquest". "Magnus Cruelty" insomma fila liscio come l'olio e si fa ben ascoltare.
Oltre alle nove tracce audio, il lavoro ne contiene una video in cui il gruppo si esibisce in "Troops Of Desolation", durante il tour di supporto a Venom Inc e Master tenutosi nel 2015; canzone originalmente contenuta nell'EP "Death Thrash Genocide" e riproposta in versione demo in qualità di bonus all'interno di "Obey The Darkness". Potrete così farvi un'idea di come questi Sudamericani si esprimono anche in tale sede.
I Vomit Of Doom vanno presi per ciò che sono: inutile cercare il pelo nell'uovo o sperare in chissà cosa. Se doveste aver voglia di scapocciare in loro compagnia, fatelo senza porvi troppe domande.

When I first started this blog four years ago, my intention was to support good underground bands that had been largely ignored, even by the underground metal elite. Obviously, the site has grown immensely since then, but today I’d like give a throwback to the early days of Underworld by supporting a great band that I haven’t heard anyone talk about on metal forums or at shows. Argentinian thrashers, Vomit of Doom have been shrouded in obscurity since they formed back in 2009 and for no good reason. The band kicks ass.
Aside from the fact that I love the band’s name, as it harkens back to a simpler time in heavy metal history, not so pretentious and reliant on medical dictionaries and esoteric grimiores, a time when Bill and Ted and Beavis and Butthead defined what it meant to rock, Vomit of Doom lives up to the coolness of their name by writing neck breaking unapologetic thrash. Vomit of Doom describes their sound as blackened thrash. I think these days, blackened thrash has just become a fall back genre for thrash bands that write uglier riffs and can’t be likened to the upbeat bay area sound that has defined the genre. Not that we don’t love you Vio-Lence.
But Vomit of Doom has created a sound that’s truly old school. While I don’t hear a huge blackened influence, there is definitely a rawness to their sound that’s reminiscent of extreme metal’s beginnings. They sound like they came right out of 1987, not like they’re trying to. They just are. The band’s most recent EP, entitled Magnus Cruelty, can be compared to the sounds of early Sepultura, or Poison (the German band not the gay ass glam band). There’s even hints of early death metal sprinkled in the sound, think Death or Possessed. Tracks are short, generally under three minutes in length, and each one pummels the listener with pure, bludgeoning ferocity.
Vomit of Doom achieves their perfected aggressive sound with slightly dirty, lo-fi production, piercing solos, and sickening riffs that will punch you in the face. L. Warpig Venomous Abominator’s vocals are absolutely disgusting, high-end growls that will leave you wanting more. Adding to the band’s classic thrash repertoire is the anthemic quality of each song. This is definitely the kind of music to pound your fist to while screaming NO DIVINE!!! at the top of your lungs. Every song on the album is memorable but the interlude in the middle left me, as an American listener confused. Other than that, Magnus Cruelty is practically a perfect old school thrash album, aggressive and fast as fuck. Even the intro and the outro were perfectly tied in with the rest of album, only adding to the nostalgia of the band’s uniquely old school thrash sound. But listen for yourself. Happy listening. Вот как я начинал отклик на альбом Vomit Of Doom 15-го года. Только в этот раз эпишку — 11-ое номерной продукт издала контора Symbol Of Domination — саблейбл Сатанат рекордс.
«С 2009-го года аргентинский трешево-блаковый зверь вырвался на свободу, и неистово насыщается, нанося громадный ущерб местным стадам крупного рогатого скота, да и прочего скота. За это время экстремальными музыкантами было издано немало демок, сплитов и эпишек, время вдаряло в свои металлические колокола, и двоилось, и троилось в глазах внимающих этому суровому южноамериканскому шторму, да и название хорошее взяли себе - VOMIT OF DOOM. Но все-таки дума там маловато)) - а все поболее угольного стиля, который пестуется где-то на территориях, которые в подданстве князя мира сего. Но замечу, я бы и от дума не отказался...))»
Команда продолжает исповедовать блэк-трешевый канон, рубить тотально и массивно, повергая даже и своих поклонников — фэнов в благоговейный ужас и полумистический экстаз. Группировка широко использует новейшие достижения техники для записи широчайшего частотного диапазона. Что при доброй аппаратуре дает сногсшибательный громобойный результат.
Но само собой - впереди этого трактора террора идет гитарный чес струнников банды VOMIT OF DOOM (или все таки скрежещущий гроуло-харш вокалиста Venomous Abominator (кстати, он еще долбит на ударных — так, что качаются люстры)). Но лучше все по порядку.
Музыканты в своей музыкально-террористической деятельности пользуются никнеймами, как в олдовые времена динозавров блэк-дэта, например из Финляндии. Только вслушайтесь как они звучат - сама музыка нижайших сфер L. Warpig Venomous Abominator - Drums, Vocals (Abominablood, ex-Insultor, ex-Rictus Calices), Artillery Command — Guitars, Endless Malevolence - Guitars (lead).
Формация несет абсолютно античеловеческое и вековечное зло с применением как и раньше темных интро и атмо-моментов, эзотерических, по сути напоенных серным зловонием и адом пытки. Это максимально усиливает впечатление от того, что обычно следует за такими повестями. Блэк-трешевый ураган VOMIT OF DOOM распространяется по рецептам записанным еще в древнем Шумере при обращении к богам подземной Империи. Струнники истово работают над созданием неформального частокола отделяющей сей дом для сумасшедших от мира обыкновенных неВтемных граждан. А лид-гитареро время от времени посылает извилистые сольные длинные языки пламени, вроде отрезвляющие, но также полные неистового беснования (есть там и про настоящее беснование).
Уже помянутый вокаллер Venomous Abominator поражает, конечно, еще и будучи драммером проекта VOMIT OF DOOM, (как так можно валить, например, на концерте для меня загадка). Просто послушайте его буреломную отработку на ударных … поймете, что это не просто (да еще и петь - в таком брутальном регистре) и расскажите еще 6 металлистам. А те далее — ну типа «письма счастья». В некоторых местах вокал раскинут по колонкам с небольшой задержкой, что формирует эффект зеркало в зеркале — дорогу в инферно- измерения.
Нужно ко всему быть готовым. Тем более, ребята из VOMIT OF DOOM дали документальный кусок одного разговора по телефону, не знаю, про что там речь шла, но скорее всего там диалог перехватила сущность, поселившаяся в одном из собеседников. Производит неизгладимое впечатление.
Надо бы отметить, что на данном диске присутствует приятный (кому приятный, а кому ужасный) бонус — видео с концертного выступления VOMIT OF DOOM. Можно как раз оценить работу музыкантов живьем, среди маршалловских мониторов.

Argentinian blackened thrashers Vomit of Doom (ha, that's a great name!), from General Roca, Río Negro, have been somewhat active (demos, EPs, splits, singles, one compilation and even one full-length being their accomplishments so far). The band's latest 9-song EP, titled Magnus Cruelty, was originally released as a very limited edition cassette on Argentinian El Conjuro Records. Hence it was nice that it also got a proper CD release for a larger audience.
What's great about this EP is that it has plenty of filthiness, harshness, and hostility in its overall solidly thrashing sound, taking hints from early Deströyer 666, with some hints of early Slayer's ferociousness as well as early Possessed's roughness and pure evilness. Vomit of Doom have the right musical recipe for wider warfare among the extreme underground Metal community: musically, they sound like they are not here to take any slaves but rather to destroy and wipe out every living being of this world. Again, this is nothing unusual or totally unique, but as long as you seem to know what musical direction you want to take right in the beginning and stick to it, it also tends to show in the shit you do. Apparently I liked VOMIT OF DOOM’s previous album. An album filled with basic old school extreme metal. I don’t doubt it at all because when old school is done the right way I am like a kid at X-mas. This time I am served an EP of equally cool metal. Listening to this brings back memories of hearing death metal, and for that matter, black metal for the very first time back in the demo days of the 80s. It is said that you don’t forget your first love and for me my first love for death metal was this basic kind that VOMIT OF DOOK plays. And to this day this gets my juices flowing.

Throughout my years of writing this blog I’ve always heard about how intense South American bands are, yet I haven’t featured very many in comparison to European and North American bands. That’s something I need to change. The first thing that struck about “Magnus Cruelty” was the strikingly evil cover art. Vomit Of Doom begins with Totality. Intro, which is a haunting noise track. Their first song proper is Black Metal Invasion. It’s a primitive and DIY take on the classic black/thrash template put through a South American blender. Taking cues from bands like Nunslaughter and Abigail, Vomit Of Doom offer raw, energetic instrumentation and hellish black metal vocals. The solo they throw in is of a high standard too, which will please any maniac. They use vocal reverb and screeching lead work on No Divine, while the rest of the music sits deeper in the mix, which is a bit of pity as it sounds really good and deserves to be louder. There are definite hints of America’s great thrash bands present on Eternal Enemy and while you’ve probably heard similar sounds a thousand times before, Vomit Of Doom still make a glorious noise. They break up the fury with interlude Captor Of Light and what sounds like demonic possession of a human being. That horror theme carries on into Shadow Of Tyranny. It’s a short song (much like the rest on the EP) but it has more impact because it. They walk a more obvious metal path on Pest Of Tomorrow, with meatier riffs and some death metal influence thrown in for good measure. Penultimate song Sodoma Conquest is pure unadulterated South American thrash metal. It has that characteristic sound that hits the sweet spot and shows that Vomit Of Doom is more than just a DIY extreme metal band. They end with Magnus Cruelty. Outro, another scary noise track. “Magnus Cruelty” is a great EP but it feels as though neither the Intro or Outro are really necessary. That being said, it’s still great listen and one of the better DIY extreme metal recordings I’ve heard this year so far.

Cuando hace ya más de un año atrás me toco reseñar el primer álbum de estos rionegrinos les augure tiempos venturosos. No me equivoqué, pues aquí está el nuevo EP de Vomit Of Doom, y es un verdadero mazazo en la nuca.
Enrolados en el más tradicional black / thrash metal vieja escuela, el cuarteto (Artillery Command y Endless Malevolence en guitarras, B.Time en bajo y Luciano Gorez en batería y voz) toma a Possessed, Assassin y Mayhem como faros inspiradores y despliega nueve tracks en apenas 20 minutos de puro headbanging, donde la catarata de riffs es simplemente atronadora.
Black / thrash metal en estado puro mis amigos, desnúquense.

Vomit Of Doom-Magnus Cruelty: Vomit Of Doom is from Argentina and a Black/Thrash Metal band. They are without a shadow of a doubt fucking incredible. I love “Magnus Cruelty.” The mixture of Blackened metal and Thrash is intense and sick. Vomit Of Doom is flawless with the vocals and instrumentation. It comes out blistering and ends on an awesome note. There is an echo effect on the vocalist's voice and the vocalist is also the drummer which I find fascinating. Pick up Vomit Of Doom this band is fucking amazing.

Argentyńczycy z Vomit Of Doom to zespół doświadczony, choć na koncie mają tylko jeden pełny album. Idą jednak podziemną droga i co pewien czas raczą nas a to splitem a to EPką, a to jakimś demo. Ostatni materiał pochodzi z 2016 roku i widzicie go na zdjęciach. I choć drugi numer ma tytuł Black Metal Invasion, to rodacy Messiego cisną w nasze uszy coś z pogranicza thrashu i blacku, z naciskiem na to pierwsze. Jednym słowem stara szkoła. "Magnus Cruelty" trwa całe 19 minut i zawiera dziewięć utworów (w tym intro i outro) czyli jest to materiał skondensowany i ubity. Dużo tu siarki, mocy i żadnej zbędnej wirtuozerii. Po prostu południowoamerykańskie piekło w całkiem dobrym stylu.
